A native of Indonesia, Iqi Qoror started his carer as a professional Visual Artist with a Master’s Degree in Fine Art, his latest works revolve around self-control, trying to set up a stage play and put everything in order, including the protagonist, the antagonist and details of the set. This act of control put Iqi as a director of his own drama. “Taking control over a moment is ideal for me, therefore many of my works talk about something ideal yet far from my expectations, and I convey this idea in a scene”.

Considering himself a contemporary artist, besides painting, Iqi enjoys challenging himself with different forms of art, such as sculpture, Installation art, kinetic art, sound art and site-specific art. His work has been exhibited around the world.
