Salvita Salim De Corte is a Balinese-born Indonesian artist and painter, of Indonesian, German, and Indian descent. Placed in a creative environment to both parents being artists , she discovered her passion for art through their artistic perspectives.
Her medium exploration surpassed materiality. Therefore jumping from oil, acrylic on canvas, mixed media, and crayons on various papers seems to be effortless. Through her portraits, she continues to express the duality of what’s familiar paired with the ambiguous, while keeping the contemplative aspect present, even at its subtlest appearance.
